Start of something new

Well, this is new!

Welcome to my first blog post! I guess I’ll start by introducing myself for anyone new here - my name is Amy, I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa and I moved to the USA in 2014! My journey here was a wild one. I met my husband in Sydney, Australia in 2012 where we met, fell in-love, dated, got engaged all within a year and then did 10 brutal months of long distance! We then went on a show called 90 Day Fiancé and now live in Texas while we raise our 3 beautiful kiddos. My husband now works for our church as Director of Worship, and we absolutely love our community and the beautiful people we get to serve and do life with here. We are passionate about Jesus more than anything! He is everything to us! He is our savior, best friend, the reason Danny & I are married, and the reason our family continues to grow and thrive!

While we are still young - I feel like we’ve lived a lot of life just in 10 years of marriage haha and in this blog - I want to bring you in closer to my beautiful journey with God + family! While I recognize life can be messy - Jesus makes the hard things EASY!

My hope is that while I share more details about my story / thoughts / God’s word on here - it brings you closer to God and in turn - finds you true freedom and joy!
